Max Harper, age 81, of Jonesboro, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017, peacefully at home following an extended illness surrounded by his family. Interment is scheduled for 4:00 pm on Thursday, September 14, 2017, in Yonah Memorial Gardens. Local arrangements are in the care of Whitfield Funeral Homes & Crematory, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia.
