Angeline Smessaert

ANGELINE SMESSAERT, age 94, of Demorest, Georgia, died Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at a private care facility following an extended illness. Mrs. Smessaert was born on August 26, 1911 in Belgium. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Coralie VanPuyvelve Minne and was also preceded in death by her husband, Peter Smessaert. Mrs. Smessaert was a homemaker and attended the Grace Calvary Episcopal Church. Survivors include: her daughter: Charlene Vogel, Casper, WY; her son: Hawk Smessaert, Sautee, GA; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2006 from the Grace Calvary Episcopal Church with Rev. Dena Burl officiating. Funeral services will be held in Illinois. The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the Community Hall of Grace Calvary Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Grace Calvary Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 490, Clarkesville, GA 30523.
