Barbara J. Wheeler

BARBARA J. WHEELER, age 80, of Cleveland, Georgia, formerly of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013. Mrs. Wheeler was born on January 3, 1933, in Fishers, Indiana; daughter of the late Clarence and Esther Castetter. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John L. Wheeler and son, Kyle Wheeler. Mrs. Wheeler was a homemaker and was of the Episcopalian faith. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Nick Lynam, Cleveland; sons, Kent Wheeler, Rock Hill, SC, Kevin Wheeler, Charlotte, NC; brother, Robert and (wife) Carolyn Castetter, Arlington, TX; and grandchildren, Andi and (husband) Christian York, Abbie Lynam, Landon Wheeler, and Lauren Wheeler; great-grandchildren, Lane York and Grayson York. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2013, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia with Roy Kelley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until the memorial hour.
