Mrs. Barbara Ann Staton, age 77, of Lula, Ga, passed away Friday, July 10, 2026.

Visitation will be held Monday July 13, 2026, at Memorial Park Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with Graveside service to follow at New Bethel Church in Dawsonville, Ga.

With our hearts beholden to our mother and filled with great sorrow, we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Staton, who took her final bow – unafraid and with an open heart- surrounded by her loved ones. She taught our family to never say “goodbye”, so “love you, see you” moma.

While she worked hard all of her life to provide for her family, she always had time for a crossword game or a new puzzle.

She is survived by her 3 children. Her daughter, Tammy, husband Danny Ledbetter. Their son, Dustin Ledbetter, wife Tosha, children, Zeke, Lili, and Jedi. Their daughter, Kayla, husband Anthony Sing, children Cayden, Jordon, Annabeth, and Abigail.

Her son, Arthur White (Sonny). His son, Shane White, wife Brittany, children Jackson, Jacob and Jolene. His son, Scotty White, spouse Jordan Mewes. His son, Eric White, children Hannah and Sayler. His son, Levi White.

Her daughter, Monica Parks, children Bryce and Haven.

Graveside arrangements have been entrusted to Whitfield Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel at 1370 Industrial Boulevard, Baldwin, Georgia 30511, which is assisting the family alongside Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504.
