Billie Sue Gibby

BILLIE SUE GIBBY, age 80, of Cornelia, GA passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010. Mrs. Gibby was born on December 31, 1929 in Winder, GA, to the late Carl and Leila Chapman Dunagan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Gibby, brother, Tommy Dunagan, sister, Jane Gaillard. Mrs. Gibby was a member of Level Grove Baptist Church and a retired registered nurse with 10 years of service. Survivors include daughters, Rebecca Hollifield, Cleveland, GA and Brenda Papageorge, Acworth, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Bea Wilson, Alpharetta, GA; brother, Randall Gaillard, Jefferson, GA; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA with Rev. Brian James officiating. Interment will follow in the Level Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 22, 2010 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA.
