Bounma Sisamouth-P

Bounma Sisamouth-P, age 72, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017. Mrs. Sisamouth-P was born on August 5, 1944, in Laos. She was a daughter of the late Somsanouk Sonanikone and Noy Vong Phachanh. Mrs. Sisamouth-P was also preceded in death by her husband, Nousing Sisamouth-P and sister, Khampha Kongkeo. She was a member of Lao Temple and the Habersham County Lao Association. Mrs. Sisamouth-P was a retired teacher from Dongdok University of Laos. She was retired from Scovill Fasteners as a machine operator with 25 years of service. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kelly Soumaly Phasavang and Kham, Cornelia, GA; son, Sivilay Sisamouth-P, Kings Mountain, NC; son and daughter-in-law, Phaimany Sisamouth-P and Chinda, Cornelia, GA; son and partner, Sukthavy Sisamouth-P and Anton Turner, Greenville, SC; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 pm on Friday, February 24, 2017, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Monks from the Wat Lao Buddha Temple officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-4:30 pm on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at the funeral home.
