Choob Bantaum

Choob "Noy" Bantaum, age 55, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016. Mrs. Bantaum was born on September 17, 1961 in Thailand to Toune and Souk Bounchanh. She was a member of Buddha Sattha Dhamma Temple and The Lao Family Association of Habersham County. She was employed with Fieldale Farms with 22 years of service. Survivors include her loving husband of 35 years, Wirapan "Joe" Bantaum, of Cornelia; daughter, Jane Tanthongsack, of Fayetteville, GA; son, Jak Bantaum, of Cornelia; grandchildren, Jazky Bantaum, Brody Bantaum, Karissa Khamvilay, and Lizzy Tanthongsack. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 5, 2016 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with The Monks of Buddha Sattha Dhamma and Watlao Temples.
