Deborah Lynn Ledbetter Holland, age 65, of Sautee Nacoochee, Georgia went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 10, 2026.
Mrs. Holland was born on March 17, 1961 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Hiram Wesley and Juanita Ledbetter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Gene Ledbetter, and Jimmy Ledbetter.
Deborah Holland was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister whose life was defined by her faith, her family, and her selfless love for others. She loved her Lord first and foremost, and her relationship with Him was the foundation upon which she built her life. She was a member Center Baptist Church in Helen, Georgia. Deborah loved her family deeply and devoted her life to caring for them. As a homemaker, she found great purpose in raising her family, creating a loving home, and making sure those she loved always knew how much they meant to her. Her family was her greatest joy and her greatest priority.
She was one of the most giving persons you could ever meet. Deborah never hesitated to help someone in need and would give of herself whenever she could. She had a heart for others and sought to bring comfort, kindness, and encouragement wherever she went. Above all, she desired to be a peacemaker, always looking for ways to bring people together and make things right.
To her grandchildren, Deborah was lovingly known as “Nana.” She cherished every moment with her grands and took great pride in watching them grow. Her love, wisdom, kindness, and gentle spirit will remain a part of their lives for generations to come. Deborah will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her generous heart, her desire for peace, and, most importantly, her love for her Lord. The love she poured into those around her will continue through the family she so faithfully loved and cared for.
