Douglas Gerald Parker

Douglas Gerald Parker, age 56, of Alto, Georgia went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 16, 2015, following an extended illness. Mr. Parker was born in Kennesaw, Georgia, on May 15, 1959. He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Mae Gravitt Parker and brother, Ricky J. Parker. Mr. Parker was of the Christian faith. Prior to becoming disabled, he was employed with Fieldale Farms. He is survived by his father, George Parker, Alto, GA; sister, Martha Davis, Alto, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Donnie Lejeune, Holly Beach, LA; brother, Kenneth Parker, Alto, GA; numerous nieces and nephews. A "Time to Remember" and Christian fellowship will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest.
