Elizabeth Kratzer Tipton

ELIZABETH KRATZER TIPTON, age 83, of Mt. Airy, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014. Mrs. Tipton was born on April 8, 1931 in Bamberg, Germany to the late Hans and Gretchen Mueller Weisel. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Tipton; daughter, Carol S. Bowden; son, Robert Frank Tipton. Mrs. Tipton was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughters and sons in law, Ingrid and Mickey Alda, Canton, GA, Shirley and Nasir Qureshi. Maricopa, AZ, Linda and Bobby Million, Demorest, GA; sons and daughters in law, James and Crystal Tipton, Chickamauga, GA, Kenny and Elizabeth Tipton, Demorest, GA; sister, Franci Berry, Hillsboro, OR; fourteen grandchildren and twenty nine great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, June 15, 2014, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Pastor Phil Wills officiating. Interment will follow in the Level Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2014.
