Evelyn Everton Brewster

Evelyn Everton Brewster, age 81, of Baldwin, GA passed away on Friday, April 2, 2010, at a local hospital. Mrs. Brewster was born on May 16, 1928, in Chattanooga, TN to the late Otis Carol and Lillie Mae Shore Everton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charley Harmon Brewster and her brother, Carol Everton. Mrs. Brewster was a member of Baldwin Baptist Church and retired from Shore's Stew and Que. Survivors include her daughter, Vickie Black, Cornelia, GA; her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Lowry Helseth, Raleigh, NC; her son, Millard Brewster, Jacksonville, FL; her son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Connie Brewster, Mt. Airy, GA; seven grandchildren, Chastity Nix, Shane Helseth, Joe Helseth, Jennifer Rhodes, Charley Helseth, Lee Humphrys, and Jacob Brewster; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 5, 2010, at Baldwin Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Sailers officiating. Interment will follow in the Baldwin City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 3, 2010, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel. Arrangements are in the care of Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA.
