Everett Lincoln Brewer, age 83, of Alto, Georgia went to his final resting place to be with his Lord on June 30, 2026.
Born on February 24, 1943 in Habersham County, he was the son of the late Spencer and Mattie Pearl Brewer.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by his wife, Estelle Brewer and brothers Paul, Ernest and Carl Brewer.
He is survived by his children Bobby Brewer (wife Alice Brewer) and Debra Brewer (Jeffrey Baugh). He is also survived by his grandchildren Cody Brewer (wife Lillie Brewer), Kalei Davis (husband Caleb Davis), Maci Foster (John Tanguay), Seth Brown (wife Brittany Brown), and Lindsey Brown (Nick Wolfe). He is also survived by his great grandchildren Isabella Brewer, Brixley Davis, Presley Brown, Lakely Brown, Hudson Brown, Tucker Hill, Ella Hill and Essie Sullens. In addition to his children and grandchild, he is survived by his brother, Joe Brewer (wife Sue) and several nieces and nephews.
Everett served his country in the United States Army and spent time in Germany and state-side during his years of service. He retired from working as a Corrections Officer at the Georgia Industrial Institute/Lee Arrendale State Prison.
He faithfully served at Crossroads Baptist Church in Alto, Georgia where he and his wife, Estelle, loved on children every Sunday morning, as well as, having a vital role with VBS and other special gatherings at the church over the years.
Everett enjoyed spending time with his family and restoring and tinkering with older cars. He always had exceptional advice and willing to lend a hand to others. He loved people and never met a stranger. His friends knew he could be found having lunch at Captain D’s several times a week where he enjoyed joking around with the staff and talking with others.
Per Everett’s wishes, a celebration of his life will be held at a later date with immediate family.
