H.V. "Buddy" Wilbanks

H.V. "Buddy" Wilbanks, age 71, of Baldwin, GA passed away on Monday, May 24, 2010, at his residence. Mr. Wilbanks was born on April 17, 1939, in Banks County, GA to the late Hillard Virgil and Rumyrth Andrews Wilbanks. He was a member of Lamar Christian Church and a former member of the National Guard. Mr. Wilbanks was employed with Carwood Manufacturing for 25 years and was recently employed with Ken-Bar Manufacturing with 15 years of service. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Williams Wilbanks, Baldwin, GA; his sons, Bobby G. Wilbanks and Joey D. Wilbanks, both of Baldwin, GA; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Faye and William Ward, Baldwin, GA and Vivian and Bobby Wills, Toccoa, GA; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Grover and Lynn Wilbanks, Baldwin, GA and Ricky and Janet Wilbanks, Baldwin, GA; and his brothers, Michael Wilbanks, Baldwin, GA; Stanley Wilbanks, Baldwin, GA, and Clinton Wilbanks, Baldwin, GA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at Lamar Christian Church with Bill Moody and David Terrell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA.
