J. Lamar Brown

MR. J. LAMAR BROWN, age 55 of Cornelia, GA passed away on Monday, March 15, 2010 following a sudden illness. Mr. Brown was born on July 21, 1954 in Demorest, GA. He was preceded in death by his father James Brown Jr. Mr. Brown was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and employed with Cargill, Inc. Survivors include mother and step-father Correne and J.T. Lindsey, Cornelia, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cheryl and Greg Hatos, Roswell, GA, Carol and Chris Gerrin, Kennesaw, GA; nephew, James Hatos and niece Riley Hatos. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA with Rev. Lloyd Free and Rev. Paul Morris. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
