Yvonne Jean Franklin Rudeseal, age 85, of Mt. Airy, Georgia went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
Mrs. Rudeseal was born on September 11, 1940 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Gene and Sarah Alexander Franklin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Raymond H. Rudeseal; grandson, Austin Sprayberry; sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Bobby Hall; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Martha Franklin.
Yvonne was a devoted mother, a pillar of strength, and the heart of her family. Her life was defined by unconditional love, quiet resilience, and a deep commitment to those she held dear. Family was her greatest joy, and she dedicated herself fully to creating a warm, nurturing home filled with laughter, care, and kindness. Yvonne's gentle spirit, listening heart, and unwavering support touched the lives of all who knew her. Whether through her comforting presence, her thoughtful words, or the many sacrifices she made for her loved ones, she gave of herself freely and without hesitation. Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled and the love she so generously shared. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Deral and Gina Rudeseal, of Mt. Airy; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Greg Sprayberry, of Mt. Airy; Angela and Brent Banks, of Clarkesville; brother, Keith and Melanie Franklin, of Acworth; grandchildren, Blake Rudeseal, and his spouse, Cassie; Morgan Rudeseal Iles, and her husband, Noah; Emilee Banks; Lexie Sprayberry Babler and her husband, Sam; Gracie Banks and her fiance, Braxton Hicks; and five great-grandchildren, James Rudeseal, Jonah Rudeseal, Jacob Rudeseal, Nolan Iles, and Sadie Jean Babler.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the Victory Baptist Church with Rev. David Nix and Rev. Shane Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Donald Grizzle officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 26, 2025 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel.
