John Stanley Lipkin

John Stanley "Jack" Lipkin, age 80, of Mount Airy, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 12:35pm from complications after a surgery.

Jack is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sharon Lipkin. Jack was very proud of his family, which included his sons, Michael Lipkin, and his children Alex and Emily; Scott Lipkin, and his wife Leigh, and their children, Samantha, Amber and Anthony.

Born in Amsterdam, New York, Jack later moved to West Winfield, New York, where he began raising his family. When his country called during the Vietnam War, Jack answered without hesitation, proudly serving in the United States Navy from 1965 until 1969. His military service reflected the dedication and sense of duty that would define the rest of his life.

Following his honorable discharge, Jack embarked on a successful career as a field engineer in the financial industry, serving customers throughout Central New York for 25 years. His strong work ethic and dependable nature earned the respect of both colleagues and clients alike.

Later, Jack and his beloved wife, Sharon, relocated to Northeast Georgia to be closer to their son, daughter-in-law, and their first granddaughter, Samantha. After settling in Demorest, Jack purchased and operated Jax's Deli and Yogurt Shop, where he became a familiar face in the community. Following the sale of the business, he continued working with several local businesses before pursuing a lifelong passion by establishing his own woodworking business.

Jack possessed an extraordinary talent in the woodshop that he built. With skilled hands, patience, and an eye for detail, he handcrafted countless pieces that found homes with hundreds of satisfied customers. Every project reflected his pride in quality workmanship and his desire to create something lasting.

More important than his accomplishments, however, was the kind of man Jack was. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, never expecting anything in return. His generosity, loyalty, and selfless spirit touched the lives of many. Jack was a steadfast friend, an exceptional relative, and someone who could always be counted on. His quiet strength, dependable nature, and genuine kindness will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Above all, Jack cherished his family. He treasured the time spent with those he loved and found great joy in watching his family grow. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched, the beautiful pieces he created, and the example of integrity, compassion, and hard work that he leaves behind.

Jack's wishes were to be cremated with no formal services held.
