Joseph Sanders Parker III

Joey Parker, age 60, of Clarkesville, Georgia went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

Mr. Parker was born on May 15, 1966 in Sunset Beach, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Versi Parker; father, Joseph Parker, II.

Joey was a gifted storyteller who loved sharing memories and experiences from his life. Whether recounting a cherished moment or making others laugh with one of his many stories, he had a remarkable way of bringing people together. He also found joy in writing poetry, expressing his thoughts and emotions through heartfelt words that reflected his gentle spirit. He enjoyed spending his time working puzzles, creating beautiful jewelry, and taking road trips with the love of his life, his devoted wife, Rosemary. Together, they made countless treasured memories exploring new places and simply enjoying each other's company.

A man of the Christian faith, Joey lived his life with generosity, humility, and love. He never met a stranger and welcomed everyone with a warm smile and a caring heart. Known for his fun-loving personality, Joey was always willing to lend a helping hand. He truly would give the coat off his back to someone in need and had a special place in his heart for those experiencing homelessness, always looking for ways to help and encourage others.

Though he will be deeply missed, Joey's legacy lives on in the stories he told, the poems he wrote, the lives he touched, and the love he shared so freely.

Survivors include his loving wife of almost 14 years, Rosemary Holden Parker, of Clarkesville; best-friend, Terry Hewett.

A Private Service will be held.
