Lenora "Punkin" Smith Manly

Lenora "Punkin" Smith Manly, age 90, of Demorest, Georgia formerly of Lula, Georgia passed away on Friday, November 6, 2026.

Mrs. Manly was born on October 14, 1936 in Hall County, Georgia to the late Enos and Alice Lewallen Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Manly; daughter, Sharon Manly Walden; and granddaughter, Jill Franklin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Rochelle and Jimmy Forrester; Nell and John L. Kenimer; her brother, Junior Smith; and brother-in-law, Gene Wiley.

Mrs. Manly was a member of Lula Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her sister, Jenny Wiley, of Lula; brother and sister-in-law, Buddy and Hilda Smith, of Banks County; sister and brother-in-law, Martha Ann and Jimmy Wilson, of Gainesville; grandchildren, Caden Franklin, Cadie Franklin, Carsen Franklin, and Emmalin Franklin; sister-in-law, Mary Smith; as well as a special niece, Janet Echols.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 11, 2026 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Rev. Randy Johnson officiating. Interment will be held at the Enon Baptist Church Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest by her beloved husband, Daniel.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at the funeral home.
