Lisa Caroll Hallford

Lisa Carroll Hallford, age 72, of Demorest, Georgia, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026 at her residence.

Lisa’s professional career included teaching in the Dekalb County School System and the Habersham County School System in Gifted and Talented Child Education. Lisa received her Specialist Degree in Gifted Education at the University of Georgia. She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, Beta Nu, and Delta Kappa Gamma Honorary Teaching Society. Lisa was a steward of her family’s multi-generational legacy of the power of education. She was a member of the Methodist- Congregational Federated Church of Demorest. Lisa was an avid community worker, a world traveler and an animal lover.

Lisa is preceded in death by her parents, Nell Carroll Hallford and Ernest Reynolds Hallford; brothers, Dr. James Reynolds Hallford (LeAnn) and Ernest Lamar Hallford (Penny).

She is survived by her sisters, Marcia Nell Hallford and Patricia Hallford Keller, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
