Marion Ansley Brown

MARION ANSLEY BROWN, age 72, of Demorest, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2014. Mrs. Brown was born on March 4, 1942 in Habersham County, Georgia; daughter of the late Harold and Annie Wilson Ansley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Brown. Mrs. Brown was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church and was a retired owner and operator of Marion's Beauty Nook, with 53 years of service. Survivors include her sister, Susan Loggins, Oakwood; brother and sister-in-law, James and Mary Ann Ansley, Toccoa; brother, Roy Ansley, Cornelia. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia with Rev. Terry Rice and Rev. Queon Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Level Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour on Tuesday, July 8, 2014.
