Marsha Laverne Butler

Marsha Laverne Butler, age 62 of Maysville, GA died Saturday, May 27, 2006 at Lanier Park Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Butler was born August 28, 1943 in Banks County, GA. She was the daughter of Esther Whitlock and the late Edgar Whitlock and was preceded in death, in addition to her father, by a brother, Johnny Whitlock. Mrs. Butler was a member of Grove Level Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Survivors include: her husband, Larry Butler, Mother, Esther Whitlock both of Maysville, GA, 2 sons and daughter-in-law: Jeff Butler, Carnesville, GA, Jamie and Kate Butler of Lula, GA, 1 sister: Bonnie Ray, Homer, GA, 2 brothers: Bobby Whitlock, Homer, GA, Lewis Whitlock , Gillsville, GA and 3 grandchildren: Elijah Butler, Jana Butler and Rebekah Butler. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 29, 2006 at Grove Level Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Appling officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 28, 2006 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
