Mr. Bounkong Kongkeo

MR. BOUNKONG KONGKEO, age 78, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2012. Mr. Kongkeo was born on May 10, 1934, in Laos. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Khampha Kongkeo. Mr. Kongkeo was a production inspector at Fieldale Farms Poultry Processing Plant. He was a member of the Wat Lao Buddha Sattha Dham Temple. Survivors include his daughters, Vieng Kongkeo, Bang Kongkeo, and Kongchanh Kongkeo, all of Laos; sons, Thone Kongkeo, Cornelia, GA, Maithone Kongkeo, Onh Kongkeo, and Hing Kongkeo, all of Laos; sister, Manh Kongkeo, Laos; brothers, Khene Kongkeo and Thit Kongkeo, both of Laos; and 20 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Monks from the Wat Lao Buddha Sattha Dham Temple and Leaders of the Lao Families Association of Habersham County officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2012, at the funeral home.
