Patricia "Patty" Donnelly, age 58, of Clarkesville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

Ms. Donnelly was born on January 18, 1968, in Teaneck, New Jersey, to Shirley Donnelly and the late Frank Donnelly.

Patricia was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She had a sweet and caring heart and loved her family fiercely. Those who knew her best lovingly described her as a “bulldog”—strong, protective, and always ready to stand up for the people she loved. She enjoyed shopping, loved keeping things clean, and took great pride in caring for the people and things that mattered most to her.

Above all, Patricia loved her family. Her children and grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and the love she gave them will remain a treasured part of her legacy.

In addition to her father, Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, April Donnelly, who passed away in 2006; and her brother, Frank Donnelly.

Survivors include her mother, Shirley Donnelly; daughter, Misty Brookshire; sons, Sean Flemming and Matthew Donnelly; grandchildren, Taylor Hires, Waylon Brookshire, and Audrey Brookshire; sisters, Cathy (Kevin) Krenek and Mary Brock; brother, John Donnelly; and numerous other relatives and loved ones.

Patricia will be remembered for her sweet heart, her strength, and the fierce love she had for her family.

A Celebration of her life will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 17, 2026 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel.
