Peter Stephen Loonam

PETER STEPHEN LOONAM January 29, 1933 - July 7, 2014 Passed away in his home with family by his side. He is survived by his Daughter, Joanne Platt, her Husband George Platt, three Grandsons, Sean-Patrick Loonam Platt, Kevin Peters & Steven Peters. Peter, originally from Freeport, N.Y. had a life full of International travel as an Art Director/Producer for McCann Erickson with his main client Coca-Cola. Upon his return from Japan, on assignment for McCann, Peter decided to retire to follow his passion for painting. He and his wife Nancy opened the Peter S. Loonam Art Gallery and Frame Shop in Bridgehampton, New York. After many years in the Hamptons, they felt it was time to move on and they settled in Cambridge Maryland where he continued his life's work as a successful artist/painter. Many years later, he and Nancy decided it was time to be closer to the "kids", so they made the move to Demorest Ga. A private memorial will be held in the future.
