Rachel Ann Flanagan

Rachel Ann Flanagan, age 54, of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.

Ms. Flanagan was born on April 9, 1972 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Leroy and Cheri Pardue Flanagan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Stacy Bennett.

Rachel was known for her extraordinary ability to put others before herself. She gave freely of her time, love, and compassion, always offering comfort, encouragement, and support to those in need. Her heart was open to everyone, and she never hesitated to help someone who needed a friend, a meal, a place to belong, or simply a kind word.

She was often described as the mother everyone wished they had. Rachel never discriminated or judged; instead, she welcomed everyone with the same unconditional love, warmth, and acceptance she showed her own family. Her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her home, making countless people feel loved, valued, and cared for.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jordon and Bridget Flanagan, of Demorest; _________ granddaughter, Aelin; and grandson on way, Grey; sister, Renee Flanagan, of Cornelia; nephews, Cody Bennett, Brandon Burton; nieces, Alicia Burton Moore, Carlie Bennett, Kayla Butcher; as well as extended family and friends.

Service arrangements are incomplete and will be announced.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
