Raymond Doyle Dodgins

Raymond Doyle Dodgins, age 76, of Mount Airy, Georgia passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026.

He was born in Clayton, Georgia to the late John and Bonnie Dodgins. Raymond is also preceded in death by his sister, Sarah Power and brother, Lewis Dodgins.

Raymond enjoyed spending his free time fishing, working on and admiring hot rods, riding motorcycles, and playing pool with family and friends. He appreciated the simple things in life and the time he shared with those he cared about.

He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Dodgins; daughter, Christy (Tommy) Dodgins; step-son, Brian Cook; son, Tim Dodgins; daughter, Melissa (Rodney) Mitchell; grandchildren, Abby Eller, Katlyn Blakely, Abbey Mitchell, Cody Cook, Lexi Stovall, Kori Dodgins, Karli Dodgins, Jacob Dodgins, Joseph Dodgins, four great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Dodgins; sister, Shelby Dodgins; brother, Allen Dodgins along with many loving nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 8, 2026 at Yonah Memorial Gardens.
