Richard Eugene "Buddy" Garris

Richard Eugene "Buddy" Garris, age 75, of Mt. Airy, Georgia went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Mr. Garris was born March 13, 1947 in Sylacauga, Alabama to the late W.J.and Yvonne (Trigg) Garris. He was a retired construction worker for the E.R. Snell Company. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Elaine Wall, brother, Billy Garris, son-in-law, Lamar Clark, and daughter-in-law, Laura Lee Weaver. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Warren Garris, Mt. Airy, daughters and sons-in-law, Leslie Garris Clark, Baldwin, Laura Garris, Mt. Airy, Melissa and Robert Woodall, Cornelia, Kathy and Ron Carey, Baldwin, brother and sister-in-law, James and Ruby Garris, Cleveland, grandchildren and spouses, Mysti and Thad Sonesen, Joshua Woodall, Joey and Alissa Carey, Elizabeth Carey, Dakota Woodall, great grandchildren, Marlee Woodall, Warren Carey, Zachary Carey, and several nieces and nephews. No formal services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Georgia 922 East Morris Street Dalton, Georgia 30721.
