Rolanda London

Rolanda London, age 66, of Cornelia, Georgia went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 17, 2026.

Mrs. London was born on June 22, 1960 in North Carolina to the late Claude Junior Owenby and Selva Jean Moore Dorsey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Heather Dawn Landers London; sister and brother-in-law, Melinda and Homer Dyer; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harold L. and Corene Tench London; uncle, Charles Moore.

She was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and a truly amazing woman whose kindness touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. She had a warm and welcoming spirit and had a special way of making everyone feel at home, even when they weren’t. Rolanda was always willing to go out of her way to help others, never hesitating to offer a helping hand, a listening ear, or a kind word. Rolanda’s family was the center of her world. She treasured her grandchildren and loved them dearly. To them, she was affectionately known as “Nana,” a name that will forever be associated with the love, comfort, and joy she brought into their lives. The memories they made together will remain a precious part of their hearts.

Rolanda dedicated more than 40 years of her life to Fieldale Farms, where she faithfully served until her retirement. Her years of hard work and dedication were a testament to her strong character and commitment. Above all, Rolanda was a woman of strong faith. She was a devoted member of Double Springs Baptist Church, where her faith was an important part of her life. She found strength and comfort in her relationship with the Lord and sought to share His love through the way she cared for others.

Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, Edwin London, of Cornelia; son, Reid London, of Cornelia; grandchildren, Aslan London and boyfriend, Max Howard, Walden London, and Tennyson London; brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Chrissy Owenby; sister and brother-in-law, Cheria and Rex Nix; and aunt, Myloe Moore.

No Formal Services will be held.
