Steve Moore

Steve Moore, age 59, of Clarkesville, Georgia, went to be with his Lord on Friday, April 28, 2017, at his residence suddenly from natural causes. Steve was born on April 27, 1958, in Demorest, Georgia; a son of the late Buford Moore and Frances Moore of Cleveland. Mr. Moore attends Hillside Baptist Church and was employed with Koch Foods. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Moore, Clarkesville; daughter, Jamie Moore, Baldwin; daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Gregory Armour, Clarkesville; stepdaughter and husband, Cody and Josh Harkins, Alto; stepson, Christopher Jackson, Clarkesville; sister, Pam Vashaw, Cleveland; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Donna Moore, Homer; brother, Tim Moore, Cleveland; and grandchildren: Kaitlin McLaine, Phoenix Armour, Skylar Jackson, Dennis Harkins, Calista Armour, B.B. Jackson, and Jackson Harkins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia, with Rev. Jerry Buschmann and Rev. Leon Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Monday, May 1, 2017, at the funeral home.
