Terry Loudermilk, age 63, of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
Mr. Loudermilk was born on June 13, 1962 in France to the late Cecil Isom Loudermilk and Mae Taylor Loudermilk and was raised in Cornelia. In addition to to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Douglas Loggins; grandfather, Robert L. Loudermilk.
He was a man whose heart belonged to the outdoors and whose spirit reflected the peace and joy he found there. He lived life with a deep appreciation for nature, spending countless hours doing what he loved most, fishing quiet rivers, hunting in the open wilderness, rock hunting, and adventuring wherever curiosity led him. The river held a special place in Terry’s heart. Time spent along its banks brought him happiness and calm, and it was there that he felt most at home. Whether casting a line, searching for unique stones, or simply enjoying the beauty around him, Terry embraced the outdoors with genuine passion and gratitude. Known for his ever-present smile, Terry was truly a happy person and he was blessed with many friends.
Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Milford Bennett, of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, Kim and Vickie Loudermilk, of Cornelia; nephews, Daryl Martin, of Cornelia; Jeff Loudermilk, of Cornelia; great-nephew, Jesse Loudermilk, of Cornelia; great-niece, Morgan Loudermilk, of Cornelia; great-nephew, Nathan Martin, of Cornelia; great-niece, Macie Martin Freelander and her husband, Blake, of Jefferson; great-great niece, Jacie Mae Freeland; great-nephew, Chase Martin, of Cornelia; great-niece, Gracie Martin, of Cornelia; and significant other, Kathi Allen, of Mt. Airy.
A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Whitfield Funeral Homes & Crematory, North Chapel at 245 Central Avenue, Demorest, Georgia.
