Thong Sithideth

THONG SITHIDETH, age 74, Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016. Mr. Sithideth was born on August 8, 1941 in Borican, Laos. He was a member of the Habersham Laos Association and the Khambouneheuag Buddhist Temple. He was a veteran of the Laos Army. He was a retired employee of Mount Vernon Mills with 12 years of service. Survivors include his daughters, Metta Chanthvong, of Cornelia; Saupahone Rattanaxay, of Mount Airy; sons, Pany Sithideth, of Alto; Lae Sithideth, of Mount Airy; Van Sithideth, of Alto; and 8 grandchildren. Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with The Monks of Habersham Laos Association officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2016 at the funeral home.
