Tobie Saifone Thonetheva, age 22, of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017. Mr. Thonetheva was born on October 22, 1994 in Demorest, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, Deuang Thonetheva; grandpa, Pon Phonesavanh; grandma, Dam Phonesavanh. Mr. Thonetheva attended the Buddhist Temple, and was employed with Mount Vernon Mills. Survivors include his mother, Amanda Phonesavanh Thonetheva, of Cornelia; brothers, Khouan Phonesavanh, of Athens; Wanis Thonetheva, of Athens; Kaffie Thonetheva, of Cornelia; sister and brother-in-law, Noy and Patrick Wilkinson, of Baldwin; nephews Talyn Thonetheva, of Spartanburg, SC; Tyson Thonetheva, of Baldwin; Kamden Phonesavanh, of Athens; niece, Kaylie Phonesavanh, of Athens. Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with the Monks of the Wat Lao Buddha Sattha Dhamma officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 14, 2017 at the funeral home.
