Walter Bea Loudermilk

MRS. WALTER BEA LOUDERMILK, age 82, of Mt. Airy, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2013. Mrs. Loudermilk was born on March 21, 1930, in Banks County, Georgia; daughter of the late Albert and Mendie Dalton Gunnells. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe H. Loudermilk and her sister, Ethel Loudermilk. Mrs. Loudermilk was formerly employed with Carwood Manufacturing and Mt. Vernon Mills. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Amanda and Keith Kimbrel, Mt. Airy, GA and Bessie and Buford Brock, Toccoa, GA; grandchildren, Cindy Standridge, Anna Carlan, Abby Kimbrel, and D.J. Kimbrel; and great-grandchildren, Alex Waters and Jordan Waters. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 6, 2013, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Rev. Terry Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Hazel Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Mr. Keith Kimbrel officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements are in the care of Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia.
