Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, located on Historic Highway 441 in Demorest, Georgia, was added in 1999 to expand service across Habersham County. Situated adjacent to Yonah Memorial Gardens, our perpetual care cemetery, the North Chapel provides a peaceful and convenient setting for families.
Our North Chapel is designed to provide a warm, comfortable, and welcoming environment for families and friends to gather and honor a life well lived. As part of our commitment to being a full-service funeral home, Whitfield Funeral Homes & Crematory offers a unique and meaningful amenity for the families we serve—the Family Connection Center.
Added to our facilities in 2014, the Family Connection Center is a dedicated fellowship hall created to give families a private, inviting space to come together before, during, or after a service. Located directly in front of the Whitfield Funeral Homes & Crematory North Chapel, this approximately 1,000-square-foot space is ideal for meals, receptions, and time of fellowship. The Center includes a small kitchen for serving and comfortable table seating for approximately 75 guests, allowing families and friends to gather, share a meal, reflect, and reconnect in a relaxed, unhurried setting.
